Dr. Bonavilla knows the only way to provide patients with the right care for their endodontic needs is through continuing education. He regularly attends conferences, seminars, and lectures on the latest techniques, materials, and approaches to care. Through in-depth seminars and courses in Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), he’s able to use comfortable 3D imaging to diagnose and treat complex cases in an efficient, effective manner.

Beyond the Practice
Originally from the charming town of Honeoye Falls, New York, Dr. Joseph Bonavilla has proudly called South Carolina his home since 2007. Alongside his wife Kristen, Dr. Bonavilla is the proud father of seven wonderful children: LJ, Eddie, Jacqueline, Nicholas, Michael, Diana Frances, and Maggie.
Outside the office, Dr. Bonavilla is a familiar face at the Northwest YMCA or at Chapin Sporting Events, cheering on his kids as they compete on the swim, track and rugby teams. Whether he’s out hiking, rollerblading, wakesurfing or enjoying the great outdoors, he finds joy in staying active and spending quality time with his family. Deeply involved in his church community, Dr. Bonavilla brings the same warmth and dedication to his personal life that he offers every patient in his care.
